Shigeru Masui is a photographer based in Tokyo. Born to Japanese and Korean parent in Niigata in 1989. In 2009, he began working as a stylist in Tokyo. Later in 2011, he worked with photographers Jorgen Axelvall and Jacob Hodgkinson, transitioning into a career as a photographer. In 2020, Masui moved to the UK and gain working alongside Mario Testino as his assistant and also in the London studio responsible for artwork production. Currently, Shigeru Masui is represented by Aoi Pro.

도쿄를 기반으로 활동하는 사진작가. 1989년 '니가타'에서 일본인과 한국인 부모 사이에서 태어나 어린 시절을 그곳에서 보냈다. 2009년 도쿄에서 스타일리스트로서의 활동을 시작, 2011년 사진작가인 Jorgen Axelvall와, Jacob Hodgkinson 씨에게 가르침을 받아 사진작가로 변신
이후에는 주로 패션분야의 사진작가로 활동하며 패션업계에서 자신의 재능과 창의성을 선보였다. 2015년 국제적인 사진작가인 Mario Testino로부터 그 재능을 인정받음.
2020년 영국으로 건너가, 런던의 Mario Testino의 스튜디오에서 작품 제작 등, 다양한 경험을 쌓음. 2022년 일본으로 귀국. 현재 Shigeru Masui는 Aoi Pro라는 회사에 소속

1989年出生于新泻，父母是日本人和韩国人，并在新泻度过童年、2009年开始在东京担任造型师、2011 年师从摄影师 Jorgen Axelvall 和Jacob Hodgkinson，转型成为摄影师，主要从事时尚领域工作、2020年-2022年在英国伦敦Mario Testino工作室工作、2022年返回日本。

目前隶属于 Aoi Pro，同时也以艺术家的身份从事摄影工作。
